Firebelly Services Expand With Added Photo & Video Capabilities
With TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, IGTV and live streaming, the elevated demand for video creation on social media platforms is undeniable. Because of this, Firebelly clients have been persistently requesting video services, which we quietly launched in Q2 last year. As we all know, the beginning of the pandemic was a challenging time -- and yet we have persisted.
Nearly a year later, the demand for these services continues to soar and we are officially launching our custom creative services to the world.
We’re a top-rated and award-winning social media marketing agency. We get social. And now we’re producing highly visual content for it.
It makes sense. Here are some incredible stats that illustrate how much brands need to embrace video in 2021.
78% of people watch online videos every week, and 55% view online videos every day. (HubSpot)
Social video gets shared 1200% more than text and images combined. (Wordstream)
More than 1 billion videos are viewed on TikTok every day. (MARKINBLOG)
50% of viewers aged 18-34 said they would stop what they were doing to watch a video from their favorite creator. (Google)
Since taking on this new venture, we’ve done some really cool work including product photography and videography, motion graphics, model shoots, and ideation and creation of Instagram Stories and Reels. In the near future, we’ll be adding video for Facebook & Instagram Live and producing interviews via Zoom.
Of course, the key piece of this endeavor is collaboration - our social media managers will work closely with our production team. We’ve hired top-notch photographer, Bryce Thompson, and promoted Taylor Carlier to be his producer. Taylor says, “Being a part of the Firebelly team for almost 5 years as a social media manager, I understand what creative works well on social media. Stepping into this role of producer marries my love for great story-telling, people, inspiring content, and it feels like the most natural next step in my Firebelly journey.”
Taylor has produced a lot of Firebelly and client content over the years, including the Upland & Firebelly video, our #GotTheFire series, LaLa Daisy and Elon Essentials photo/video shoots, Mimi Blue photography, Union Club Hotel at Purdue University photography, 8Eleven Modern Bistro photography, and The Burgundy video shoot.
Photographer Bryce Thompson, may be new to Firebelly but not content creation. “I’m ready to jump into the flames and use my skills to deliver fresh and unique content for our clients. Taylor and I make a great team. With her aesthetic and client familiarity partnered with my experience behind the camera, we’re ready to bring the heat.”
