Meet Firebelly: The Daisy Morales Interview

As Firebelly Marketing continues to grow, from dull embers to a towering inferno, we’re introducing you to the people that spark our ideas.

We are always adding the best and the very brightest, expanding our agency in order to provide unique creative strategies for our clients. Since social media is social in nature, we want to communicate on what exactly makes our people here at Firebelly tick and we’re continuing the series with Daisy Morales!

Meet Daisy. Daisy is our Production Assistant! Daisy was raised in a Mexican household as both of her parents are from Mexico. She grew up in Indianapolis and her culture is very prominent in her life from visiting Mexico every summer and Christmas break to Spanish being her first language to experiencing Mexican Traditions like a quinceañera.

Growing up she was a creative individual and that transcended into her college career where she found a passion for photography and the arts. She attended Depauw University graduating with a bachelor's in liberal arts focusing on photography, video art, and graphic design.

How Do You Start Your Day?

I am not a morning person so I usually set my alarm 10 minutes before I actually have to get up to give myself a few minutes to fully wake up. I’ll have a light breakfast usually like a smoothie or yogurt and fruit to start my day.

What Is Your Daily Media Diet?

I do spend a lot more time on social media than I would like, especially TikTok. I don't have a specific routine, it's just whenever I have free time whether that's when i'm eating, before bed or even sometimes I'll listen to a podcast while I'm trying to go to sleep.

How Do You Get Past Creative Blocks?

Simply by just taking a break creatively and listening to some music or a podcast to give my brain a break.

What's The Most Interesting Social Media News Story You’ve Seen Lately?

TikTok had taken down Universal Music Group sounds off the app causing many videos to be muted but they have made a deal and UMG is back on the platform!

What Pet Peeves Do You Have?

One of my pet peeves would be when people don’t put their blinkers to turn or switch lanes when driving.

What’s One Piece Of Advice You’d Give To Anyone?

A piece of advice I'd give someone is to travel the world. I believe it's important to break out of our bubble and experience new cultures, foods, places, and people and learn about the world around us.

What’s The Strangest Talent You have?

I can raise my eyebrow like The Rock.

What’s One Thing You Would Change About Social Media?

One thing I would change about social media is the idea of followers and likes. Many people tend to put too much pressure on who's more popular, and how many followers or likes you have, instead of focusing on the content, creativity and just having fun.
